Retiring after 42 years as a community banker provided the opportunity to become a licensed REALTOR in 2011. Joining the team at Stewart Realty Company has been very rewarding and a new learning experience for me. My years as an agricultural, commercial and real estate lender along with my years of involvement in the Charles City community have given me a wealth of experience and knowledge of our local market and community members. It's this experience and expertise that allows me to provide clients with the high quality service Stewart Realty Company is known for in our community and surrounding areas.

My wife, Ann, and I have been Charles City area residents since 1986 and live on a small farm north of Charles City.  Ann is a retired kindergarten teacher and is still active in many community projects and organizations.  We have 3 grown daughters who now have families and live in the Midwest - close enough to make visiting them and our 6 grandchildren a real joy.

Currently, I serve as a director of CUSB Bank and the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa.  I am also a long time Lions member and active with their Iowa Kidsight program, which screens preschool kids for early detection of eye problems.  Golfing, travel, gardening and family fill our spare moments and make life very full and rewarding.
